Gender Ministry to open bid for caterers to apply for school feeding contracts

The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection will soon open the bidding process for caterers to provide meals under the School Feeding Programme for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Interested caterers must create an online profile for a fee of GH₵200 and show proof of GH₵5000 in an account to demonstrate their ability to pre-finance, as payments are made after the term ends.

A pilot system will be tested in New Juaben South and Krachi East due to their strong internet connectivity.

Current caterers have been paid for the first term, with efforts to settle second-term debts underway.
