The Ghana Police Service has indicated that there will be laser and fireworks tonight, Monday, 5 March 2018, adding “it should not cause fear and panic”.
The fireworks will be held at the Kwame Nkrumah Water Gardens at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in the Greater Accra Region and in the capital cities of the nine other regions.
Meanwhile, preparations are far advanced for the commemoration of Ghana’s 61st Independence Day anniversary with Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari as special guest of honour.
He is expected in the country anytime soon for the main event which will be held on Tuesday, 6 March.
