Ghana Freedom Party settles on Roman Fada as Flagbearer

The Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) has named radio personality Roman Fada as its flagbearer for the 2024 elections, honoring the wishes of the late party leader, Akua Donkor, who expressed her desire for him to succeed her.

The party did not disclose Fada's running mate for the upcoming elections.

Following Donkor's death, the Electoral Commission granted the GFP ten days to

find a replacement, as the electoral rules lack clear guidelines for such situations close to an election.
