Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam has announced that Ghana's economy is experiencing a strong rebound after facing challenges in recent years.
He predicted that the economy will surprise the world with its growth, citing exceeded projections in 2022 and a 4.7% growth rate in Q1 2023.
The Minister also announced that GH¢1.5 billion has been released to support customers affected by the banking sector clean-up, acknowledging mistakes were made and individuals suffered losses.
He emphasized that the government is not responsible for investment decisions, but is taking steps to mitigate the impact.
