Ashanti Regional Vice-Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Nsenkyire, has fired back at Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, over his attack on Anas Aremeyaw Anas, advising the business mogul to go to the Special Prosecutor’s office if he has enough evidence that incriminates ace investigate journalist.
The maverick Lawmaker has since the arrest of Ghana Football Association chief, Kwesi Nyantakyi mounted series of accusations and allegations against Anas and have also questioned his style of journalism threatening to reveal fraudulent acts of the ace journalist.
On Wednesday, May 30, 2018 released some pictures alleged to be Anas on social media but has received lots of disparaging comments with some questioning his problem in connection with the yet to be released video on corruption, Number 12 by Anas and the BBC on 6th June, 2018.
But speaking on Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkrah on Wednesday, Mr. Nsenkyire admonished the Assin North MP to stop the unnecessary noise and channel his energy to the Special Prosecutor’s office to any evidence that implicates the global multiple award winning journalist.
He says ”If Kennedy Agyapong has evidence that incriminates Anas,he should take them to the Special Prosecutor’s office and stop noise he’s making on various platforms”.
He added: ”Anas deserves the praises he is receiving worldwide and Ghanaians must appreciate ‘what we have as a people”.
