The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) has criticized Attorney General Godfred Dame's harsh reaction to the Appeals Court's ruling in the ambulance procurement case.
The court acquitted Richard Jakpa and Minority Leader Cassiel Ato Forson of charges of causing financial loss to the state.
Dame labeled the verdict "perverse" and "grossly unfair," prompting GBA's Public Relations Officer Saviour Kudze to deem his language inappropriate for a leader of the Bar.
Associate Professor Kwadwo Appiagyei Atua echoed this sentiment, suggesting Dame's choice of words was excessive.
