Government through the Controller and Accountant General’s Department has released funds to various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) towards the 60th Independence Day celebrations on Monday March 6, 2017.
A release issued and signed by the Controller and Accountant General’s, Seidu Kotomah stated that each assembly will receive GH¢10,000 which is part of outstanding disbursements of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).
It further stated that the amount shall be deducted from the outstanding payments of the DACF before it is transferred to the respective assemblies.
