The Government of Ghana has designated the University of Ghana Medical Centre(UGMC) as a treatment facility for diplomats serving in Ghana.
This forms part of efforts to mitigate the impact and contain the novel coronavirus(COVID-19).
A statement signed issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration urged the Diplomatic Community to report any suspected case of COVID-19 directly to the Director of Medical Affairs at UGMC on telephone number (+233)208119761.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration avails itself of this opportunity to renew to all Diplomatic Missions, International Organizations, and Honorary Consulates accredited to the Republic of Ghana, the assurances of its highest consideration,” it added.
