Members of the Northern Youth for Peace and Community Development (NYPCD), have called on President Akufo-Addo to forgive and pardon former chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi.
According to the group Mr. Nyantakyi has not only been a victim of blackmail but of circumstance.
Speaking to the media in Accra, the Executive Director of the group, Prince Wuni Soha Yalla, urged president Akufo-Addo, to intervene in the Ghana Football Association former boss Kwasi Nyantakyi saga to help restore the integrity for the former GFA president.
He added that the Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed and his Deputy should be sacked else the NPP will lose the 2020 election in the three Northern regions.
They seized the opportunity to launch the 7th edition of the Northern Youth for Peace and Community Development National Achievers Awards slated for Saturday, October, 27th 2018.
