Wife of Ghana’s Vice-President, Samira Bawumia, will make her debut appearance at August’s edition of the International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES) this year.
Ahead of the event, Her Excellency Samira Bawumia hopes to see the youth gather at the National Theatre as she engages them in an intimate conversation about the future.
She is expected not to only speak to them but motivate and listen to the amazing ideas the youth have that will propel the nation to greater heights from August 21 to August 23.
The International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES) organized by the Brian Jones Ministries marks its fifth anniversary this year.
IYES, a non-profit organization, has been created to encourage the youth, aspiring entrepreneurs and top class personalities in Ghana to network and share ideas in an environment aimed at shaping the youth’s intellectual, spiritual and emotional growth.
It also brings youth of Ghana from all walks of life and motivates them to achieve their dreams while developing leadership skills through seminars, practical opportunities and revival summits.
C.E.O of the National Youth Authority, Emmanuel Asigiri, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, and Rev. Eastwood Anaba will also speak to the youth of Ghana during the event.
Dr. Kofi Abban, founder and C.E.O of Rigworld International Services, Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah, John A. Kumah, and Nigerian actress, Chioma Akpotha, will feature on IYES this August.
C.E.O of EIB Network, Bola Ray, as well as Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korley Constituency, Zanetor Rawlings will be part of the panel of speakers at the event.
Pastor Brian Amoateng, Founder of Brian Jones Ministries will be joined by Pastor Samson Amoateng and Pastor Daniel Amoateng.
There will be two sessions each day for the program in Accra. Morning sessions begin at 8:30am with evening sessions commencing at 5:30pm.
