‘I know my level; I won’t elevate Bawumia by debating him’ – Mahama jabs Akufo-Addo

John Dramani Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has rejected President Akufo-Addo's suggestion to debate Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saying it would only elevate Bawumia.

Mahama, speaking to supporters in Ningo Prampram, dismissed the idea, instead urging Bawumia to focus on addressing the government's economic failures and apologizing to Ghanaians for mismanagement.

Mahama pointed to Bawumia's role as head of the Economic Management Team, holding him responsible for the country’s economic hardships.

He emphasized, "I will not bring Bawumia to my level by debating him. He should go and debate the people of Ghana."
