Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party's flagbearer, has pledged to tackle Ghana’s youth unemployment by creating one million jobs if elected president.
Speaking at a rally in Kpando, Volta Region, Bawumia highlighted his plan to provide digital skills training to Ghana’s youth, including school dropouts, to help them compete globally.
He stressed that equipping young people with these skills is key to solving the unemployment crisis, enabling them to work remotely for companies in countries like the US, Germany, and Japan from within Ghana.
