NPP Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has defended his digitalization efforts, explaining that they address Ghana's economic issues.
Speaking at the launch of MyCreditScore, Bawumia countered claims that he’d abandoned economics, saying digital tools like the Ghanacard and Digital Address System are key to economic growth.
MyCreditScore aims to improve access to credit, lower Ghana’s high non-performing loan rate of 24.3%, and promote responsible borrowing.
This system will provide Ghanaians with standardized credit scores, making financing easier and helping to build a stable, inclusive economy.
