Presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) on Wednesday promised to accept the outcome of today’s elections.
Ivor Greenstreet speaking to Asempa FM in Accra, said the party would not contest results of the elections provided it was free and fair.
“It is still early days, but I must say the CPP will accept the results of this elections if there’s no evidence of electoral malpractices.“We have come a long way and we have demonstrated over the years that we can organize peaceful election devoid of harassment and intimidations,” Mr Greenstreet told Asempa FM’s Captain Smart.
Commenting on his chances, he said he believes the Ghanaians would give the CPP a resounding victory by close of polls, stressing that “the people want change”.
