IGP leaked tape: Bagbin orders committee’s report to be delivered to Akufo-Addo

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has directed the Clerk of Parliament to present the ad hoc committee's report on the plot to remove the IGP to the President for further action.

This follows Parliament's adoption of the report, which, despite being unsigned by Chairman Samuel Atta Akyea, found three senior police officers guilty of misconduct under Police regulations.

Bagbin stated, "The report is accordingly adopted. I can only direct that the clerk to parliament should make available a copy of this report, which has just been adopted by the house, to his excellency, the president, as chairman of the police council for any further action, it deems necessary."
