Samuel Atta Akyea, Chairman of the ad hoc committee investigating the leaked tape plotting to remove the IGP, has criticized the committee's report as "anaemic" and lacking substance for parliamentary action.
The report, unsigned by the Chairman, suggested sanctions for three senior police officers for misconduct.
Atta Akyea urged Parliament to reject the report, citing a lack of logical foundation and evidence.
In response, Vice Chairman James Agalga defended the report, asserting that the committee appropriately handled the matter, using the dictionary definition of conspiracy rather than the legal definition.
