Opposition National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidate for the Wa West Constituency in the Upper West Region, Superintendent (retired) Peter Lanchene Toobu, has said Ghana must adopt innovative measures toward the fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
Ghana has recorded 214 cases of the COVID-19 outbreak with five deaths
In a comment, Mr Toobu said: “Let's think outside the box in our fight against COVID-19.”
He further said hand sanitisers must be produced on a large scale and supplied to every part of the country as a measure to fight the infection.
“Alcoholic beverage production companies should promote ‘One bottle of any alcoholic beverage, One 100ml sanitiser (1B 1S),” he said.
