Renowned media lawyer and Newsfile host, Samson Lardy Anyenini, has urged the judiciary to uphold Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo’s "LEADing Justice" vision, emphasizing the need for leadership in delivering quality justice.
Speaking at the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) 50th-anniversary symposium, Anyenini highlighted the importance of transparency, digitalization, and judicial independence, especially ahead of the 2024 elections.
He warned that lack of transparency threatens democracy, citing Africa’s history of instability. Anyenini also called for faster resolution of election disputes to ensure public trust in Ghana's judiciary.
