A judge of the Accra Central District court, Arit Nsemoh, today, Thursday, June 15, prevented some 10 journalists from entering the court to cover the case of Daniel Asiedu aka Sexy Dondon and Vincent Bossu aka Jnr Agogo, who are standing trial for allegedly murdering Abuakwa North MP Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu.
She said: "No journalist is allowed in my courtroom," and asked the police officers on duty to ensure reporters were a good distance away from the court premises.
It is unclear what led to the judge’s decision, Accra News’ Ama Brako Ampofo reported from court.
The case was, however, adjourned to 29 June as the prosecutor, George Amega, told the court that he was waiting for advice from the Attorney General on the case.
One of the accused persons, Daniel Asiedu, told the court that he has been prevented from meeting his lawyer, Augustine Obour.
