Former Supreme Court judge, Justice William Atuguba, has raised concerns over recent judicial appointments, criticizing the selection process for favoring less-qualified candidates over experienced judges.
He suggested that non-merit-based factors are influencing these decisions.
Justice Atuguba also questioned the Electoral Commission's refusal to conduct a forensic audit of the voter register, warning that it undermines fairness and transparency.
He criticized the misuse of power in Ghana, stressing that constitutional processes are being subverted and called for adherence to the rule of law.
