Members of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) are currently casting their votes to elect a presiding member.
The former presiding member of KMA Nana Kofi Senya and his close contender Baffour Adjei Kesse IV Adumhene were expected to step aside for a compromised candidate.
But Ultimate News’ Isaac Bediako reports that Adumhene Nana Baffour Adjei Kesse IV has stepped aside.
Currently, Nana Kofi Senya is the only person in the race, indicating that the assembly members will vote yes and no.
Those who want Nana Kofi Senya to become KMA’s presiding member will vote yes and those against him will vote no.
The assembly has been operating without a Mayor since the Mayor resigned.
