Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokore Mampong says blood samples of the three first-year male students of the Kumasi Academy, who died under mysterious circumstances within 48 hours have been sent to the Noguchi Memorial Research Institute by the health directorates to ascertain the cause of death.
Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokore Mampong, Alhaji Alidu Seidu stated that the Institute has assured the Assembly that the autopsy report will be ready by Wednesday 6th December 2017.
He asked Ghanaians and Parents of KUMACA students to exercise patience in order not to cause further fear and panic.
Three more students of Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) were confirmed dead Tuesday morning, following the death of three others last week.
The three; two females and a male, reportedly died at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) hospital.
This brings the number of students who have died from April this year to 13.
24 other students are currently on admission at the hospital.
