Minister for National Security Albert Kan Dapaah has called on ECOWAS breakaway countries to collaborate with the regional bloc to combat terrorism.
Speaking at the Ghana Catholic Bishop’s Conference, Dapaah highlighted the alarming rise in extremist attacks in West Africa, stressing the need for a united approach despite political differences among nations.
He criticized the self-reliant stance of some Sahelian countries, advocating instead for continuous cooperation in security matters to ensure the region's safety and peace.
Dapaah emphasized that political differences should not impede joint efforts to tackle terrorism effectively.
