Kasoa: Truck driver dies, two others critically injured

A tipper truck driver died and two others were critically injured in an accident at Krispol City Junction, Kasoa, on June 21.

The driver, who was thrown from the truck, was run over and died instantly. His critically injured companions were taken to Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa, where the driver's body was also deposited.

The accident occurred when the truck's dumper, not properly lowered after tipping sand, struck an overpass, ripping off the cabin.

An unidentified individual stole money and smartphones from the victims, sparking outrage among eyewitnesses.
