The office of Kwesi Nyantakyi has given thumbs up to Kennedy Agyapong for screening his much-touted ‘Who Watches the Watchman’ documentary, stating the said video is credible than the Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigative documentary that exposed corruption in football in Ghana.
The Assin Central MP has prior to the premiering of the Anas’ #Number12 documentary on June 6 threatened to expose what he deemed to be the evil deeds of the investigative journalist accusing him of corruption, something the journalist has been accusing people of in his works.
Accordingly, Mr. Agyapong on Wednesday night released a documentary in which he accused Anas of engaging in selective justice by concealing evidence he gathers against some people who the MP claimed Anas took bribes from.
Commenting on Mr. Agyapong’s documentary, public relations officer of Mr. Nyantakyi Dr. Martin Obeng Luthur said Who Watches the Watchman was more credible than #Number12 because the latter did not have the voice of people in the video talking as was the case in the former.
Speaking on Onua FM’s Yen Nsempa on Thursday, Dr. Obeng Luthur told host Bright Kwesi Asempa that “this video [Who Watches the Watchman] is more credible than Anas’ videos”.
“[Anas] is not a super human being…he is not better than any person in country. Tell him to prepare because within few weeks…every week…there will be a lot of civil and criminal case against him”.
