The Konkomba Yam Producers Marketing Society has presented 1000 tubers of yam to support Government cater for the vulnerable during the lockdown period.
According to the Yam producers, they are grateful to their government for the support given to the vulnerable especially during the lockdown period.
They added that their society will aside the 1,000 tubers donate tubers of yam to the needy and vulnerable in addition to the 1000 tubers of yams donated.
Mr Anthony Tanyam and Mr Lanjor Daniel executives of the Yam Market presented the tubers of yam to the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon Cynthia Mamle Morrison on behalf of the Konkomba Yam market.
The Minister expressed gratitude to them and all others who have supported Government during the Corona Virus pandemic.
