Kumasi: New terminal building at Prempeh I Int’l Airport to begin operations July 1

The new terminal building at Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi will begin operations on July 1, 2024.

The Ghana Airports Company Limited will conduct simulations from June 25-30 to ensure a smooth transition.

Three live flights will operate from the new terminal between June 28-30.

The new terminal has various features, including a capacity for 800,000 passengers annually and modern baggage handling systems.

This upgrade aims to establish Ghana as a leader in airport business in West Africa.
