A young man associated with Kumasi-based cleric Sheikh Anas Tawfiq has died after a failed kidney transplant attempt despite a US$50,000 donation from Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Initially sent to India for the procedure, the patient returned to Ghana without surgery.
