La Traditional Council suspended indefinitely

The Ministry of Religious and Chieftaincy Affairs and the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs have indefinitely suspended the La Traditional Council to facilitate smoother operations.

All governmental institutions are barred from engaging with anyone claiming to represent the Council.

Paramount Stool Land matters are paused until the Council reopens or a new La Paramount Chief is enstooled, per Section 45 of the Chieftaincy Act.

The Registrar of the La Traditional Council must transfer all Council property to the Regional House for further action.
