The country’s energy challenges are over courtesy President John Dramani Mahama according to his Campaign Coordinator Kofi Adams.
On Abusua Nkomo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, he stated that ‘Dumsor’ which bedeviled the country in time past resulting in the collapse of businesses has been banished through the efforts of the president the need for Ghanaians to mandate him another term of four years in office.
“President Mahama has banished Dumsor and it is evident for all to see”, he disclosed.
He observed should any area witness power challenges, it could be as a result faults from their transformers, falling of pylons and other technical challenges that are not directly linked to energy generation.
Mr. Adams who is also the National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) hinted that government intends retooling the Volta River Authority (VRA) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to ensure that these intermittent minor problems are resolved.
According to him, President Mahama is concerned about the about the welfare for the citizenry for which reason he worked tirelessly in banishing ‘dumsor’.
