Vice president Kwesi Amissah-Arthur believes his boss President John Mahama has exceled in office and deserves a second term to cap his success.
He said Mahama has always had the wellbeing of Ghanaians at heart and will work tirelessly to keep transforming lives under the ‘Better Ghana Agenda.’
Mr Amissah-Arthur, who is currently campaigning in the northern parts of Ghana, is deeply convinced that Mahama has discharged his duties effectively.
“In President John Mahama, we have a leader who is working in the interest of our generation and future generations,” the vice president said.
Amissah-Arthur is expected to meet with the Gonja Traditional Council as well as party executives and parliamentary candidates of the National Democratic Congress whilst in the Northern region.
He will inaugurate the Northern Regional Campaign Taskforce for John Mahama 2016 as well as hold a special meeting with NDC functionaries from Bole Bamboi, Sala-Tuna-Kalba, Damongo, Yapei-Kusawgu, Daboya Mankarigu and Salaga North and South.
Amissah-Arthur will be taking his campaign to the Upper East region where he will call on chiefs, party executives and parliamentary candidates, among others.
