Mahama mourns demise of Herman Chinery-Hesse

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Herman Kojo Chinery-Hesse, a pioneering tech entrepreneur known as “the Bill Gates of Africa.”

Chinery-Hesse, who passed away on September 16, 2024, due to cardiac arrest, was the founder of theSOFTtribe and a major force in Ghana’s tech industry.

Mahama praised Chinery-Hesse’s transformative contributions to Ghana’s digital landscape and described his death as a significant loss, urging inspiration from his legacy.
