Mahama pledges to revamp markets nationwide

John Dramani Mahama, the NDC's flagbearer, has pledged to revamp market centers across Ghana through a "market enhancement programme" aimed at boosting trade, especially for women.

Speaking in Tema West during his Greater Accra campaign, Mahama emphasized his commitment to empowering women by creating better trading environments and launching a women’s development bank within 120 days.

The bank will offer low-interest, collateral-free loans to support women in growing their businesses and supporting their families.

Mahama aims to modernize markets to improve conditions and stimulate local economies.
