Henry Nana Boakye, National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their praise of the judiciary following the Court of Appeal's acquittal of Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
Mahama called the ruling a victory for the rule of law, supporting his view that the case was political persecution.
Nana Boakye accused the NDC of double standards, noting their prior criticism of the judiciary.
He expressed hope that the NDC's stance would remain consistent if the Supreme Court reverses the decision, emphasizing that such double standards are detrimental to democracy.
