President John Mahama will begin his campaign tour of the Volta region today.
He is expected to address supporters of his party and also visit some traditional authorities in the region.
He will spend five days touring 18 out of the 25 constituencies in the region including, Kpando, Kwamekrom, Dambai, Borae and Krachi-Nchumuru.
At the later part of the week, the team will move to North Dayi, Ho West, Adaklu, Agortime, Ketu South, Anlo, Akatsi South and a host of others.
MP for Ho Central, Benjamin Kpodo wants residents in the region to comport themselves while the president is in town.
The region has traditionally been the stronghold of the ruling party.
