The father of the slain army officer, retired Captain Denis Mahama told the media today, he is increasingly getting worried because, the young widow barely utters a word showing the deep pain she is going through since the demise of her husband.
“They were very, very close and she’s not yet recovered from the painful experience. She doesn’t talk, but thank God she is still holding herself together,” retired Captain Dennis Mahama said.”
Captain Mahama now Major, was brutally lynched by some angry mob at Denkyira-Obuasi in the central region after accusing him of being an armed robber. The police are holding on to some 43 suspects who all have been provisionally charged with murder and are currently on remand.
Major Mahama will be laid to rest on Friday May 9, 2017.He left behind two kids all boys together with a 26-year-old widow, Barbara Mahama .
