Mawuena Dumor Trebarh goes home today

Mawuena Adzo Dumor Trebarh, the former CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), will be laid to rest today.

The burial service is scheduled at 7 am at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Adabraka, Accra, with attendees wearing black.

A thanksgiving service will follow at 9:30 am, with attire in black and white. Trebarh, who passed away on April 10, was celebrated for her pioneering achievements, including being GIPC’s first female CEO and Ghana's first female underground exploration geologist.

She is survived by her husband, daughter, father Prof. Ernest Dumor, and brother Dr. Korshie Dumor.
