Some aggrieved clients of gold dealership firm, Menzgold, belonging to a group calling itself Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold, have accused the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), of going into hiding following his failure to refund clients’ locked-up investments.
Mr Francis Owusu, Public Relation Officer of the Aggrieved Menzgold Customers told Kwabena Prah Jnr. (The Don) on Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM on Wednesday, 28 November that:
“Now we cannot find Nana Appiah Mensah to even talk to him, he has gone into hiding and is only talking on twitter.”
“He should come out and talk to us on how he is going to refund our money to us,” Mr Owusu added.
The aggrieved customers demonstrated against the company on Tuesday, 27 November 2018.
After several months of promises to pay them 15 per cent of their locked-up investment principals, the company has failed to live up to expectation.
