Electroland Ghana Limited owned brand NASCO Electronics has ahead of AFCON 2021 and Qatar World Cup qualifiers in 2022 pledged to give a total of US$60,000 to the Ghana Black Stars.

This pledge, the brand says, will be honored at the end of January 2022. It is expected to be paid from the monthly sales of NASCO products beginning from August this year.

At a press conference at its head office on Tuesday, August 18, the Managing Director of EGL, Nour Seklaoui, presented the first cheque of US$10,000 for the month of August 2021 to Honourable Mustapha Ussif, Minister of Youth and Sports to mark the beginning of their commitment and dedication to supporting the men's senior national soccer team.

The National Sales Manager of EGL, Vincent Azan-Gbiok, said: "at the end of every month, an amount of US$10,000 will be presented to the Ministry of Youth and Sports till we reach the target in January 2021".

“The gesture falls in line with our 'bring home happiness' campaign," Mr. Azan-Gbiok added.

The Black Stars are expected to face Morroco, Gabon, and Comoros in the qualifiers.
