Around 40 NDC Members of Parliament have occupied seats on the majority side in Parliament, leaving the minority side vacant.
This move follows Speaker Alban Bagbin's recent declaration of four parliamentary seats as vacant, sparking uncertainty over which party holds the majority.
With 136 seats, the NDC claims the majority, while the NPP has 135. However, the Supreme Court has paused Bagbin's ruling, allowing the affected MPs to keep their seats until further notice.
Despite this, the NDC caucus is holding onto its claimed majority status, intensifying the standoff in Parliament.
