Ex-President John Dramani Mahama is set to embark on a five-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra region today, October 29, 2018.
Mr Mahama has already toured and engaged delegates in Northern, Upper West, Upper East, Brong Ahafo and Central, regions in his bid to win the flagbearership slot of the party into the 2020 general elections.
The Greater Accra tour will afford the ex-President the opportunity to engage delegates who are the kingmakers in the constituencies of the region.
He’ll visit Trobu, Amasaman, Domeabra Obom, Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfrom, Weija Gbawe, Anya Sowutuom and Okaikoi North.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is scheduled to elect its Flagbearer on December 7. to lead the party to recapture power in 2020.
