On Wednesday, September 4, chaos erupted at the Ministry of Finance as members of the NDC-affiliated Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Brigade clashed with security personnel.
The youth group was protesting alleged financial mismanagement under President Akufo-Addo’s government.
Their demands included accountability for a controversial $34.9 million Ambulance Spare Parts deal, concerns about the Ghana Revenue Authority's involvement with Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML), and full disclosure of expenses for the 2023 All-African Games.
The group has intensified its calls for transparency and accountability.
