Dr. Sekou Nkrumah, son of Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, believes the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has effectively taken on the role of his father's Convention People’s Party (CPP).
On Joy News PM Express, he noted that the NDC’s dominance has overshadowed efforts to revive the CPP since 1992.
Dr. Nkrumah stated that many NDC members share a political orientation similar to the CPP. He emphasized the need for leadership that connects with ordinary Ghanaians, tackles corruption, and creates jobs.
Dr. Nkrumah, who is exploring leadership roles, stressed learning from past leaders like his father and Rawlings.
