NDC’s call for forensic audit of voter register a waste of time – Akpaloo

Kofi Akpaloo, the flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), has dismissed the NDC's call for a forensic audit of the 2024 voters register, labeling it a waste of time.

He argued that with only about 65 days before the December 7 elections, there isn't enough time to conduct such a comprehensive audit across 275 constituencies and 40,000 polling stations.

Akpaloo asserted that allegations of ghost names on the biometric register wouldn't impact the election results, emphasizing confidence in the Electoral Commission's work and urging the NDC to focus on preparations instead.
