New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo has said his party will not produce any 'Green Book' to deceive the electorate but evidence based projects when it assumes power.
Speaking to the people of Denkyira as of Central Regional tour Wednesday, Nana Addo pointed out that the NPP’s developmental agenda will be much visible and not a green book of deception.
He reiterated the party’s commitment of allocating $1 million cedis every year to each district to oversee activities in the districts.
He said the policies by the Kufour administration that ensured a rise in cocoa production have been abandoned adding that the country is struggling to even achieve 700,000 tonnes when the NPP government achieved 1,000,000 tonnes.
He stressed that the NDC and its sluggish policies have quashed policies such as high cocoa producer price, cocoa bonus to farmers, mass spraying and fertilizer for farmers, causing the sector to lag behind.
He emphasized that an Akufo -Addo government will implement policies to re-energize the cocoa sector in the region.
He entreated electorate to vote out the NDC on December 7.
