Deputy Minority Leader Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has condemned New Patriotic Party running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo) for comparing President Akufo-Addo's achievements to those of Ghana's first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Buah called Napo's remarks "misguided and insulting," demanding a retraction and apology.
Highlighting Nkrumah's significant contributions, such as establishing KNUST and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Buah contrasted these with Ghana's current economic challenges under Akufo-Addo.
He stressed that Nkrumah's legacy remains sacrosanct and any attempts to undermine it would be fiercely resisted, emphasizing Nkrumah's lasting impact on Ghana's development.
