The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., seems to be worried over timelines given by the Electoral Commission following a decision to compile a new voters register.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC), after a meeting with the EC, the Eminent Advisory Committee and IPAC, bemoaned the fact that the newly compiled voters' register will be handed over to the various political parties few weeks to the December 7 elections.
According to them, the EC claims the final register will be ready on November 8th, 2020.
Speaking to this on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Kwesi Pratt says he is worried that the date can affect preparations towards the elections in December.
“If the voters' register will be ready on Nov 8 when are we going to be prepared and ready for voting?” he queried.
