The Ministry of Education has reassured parents of incoming first-year Senior High School (SHS) and technical and vocational students to remain calm as the new academic term begins on October 31.
Spokesperson Kwasi Kwarteng emphasized that students will not lose their admissions if they cannot report on the specified date, as there is a one-week grace period for preparation.
Academic activities will officially start on November 7, allowing time for orientation, registration, and gathering necessary supplies.
The Ministry introduced this grace period to alleviate stress amid the recent harmonized prospectus system, which standardizes essential items for students.
