The National Women Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Otiko Afisa Djaba is advising party footsoldiers from embarking on seizing public toilets from its managers who are purported to be members of National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The seizure of public toilets became a topical issue in 2009 when NDC assumed office leading to series of clashes between supporters of the two parties over the management of government facilities.
She observed that its needles for NPP members to seek revenge and that its President-elect abhors violence and persons who engage in violence.
According to her, there is no point vilifying and hooting at NDC supporters for losing the December 7 polls.
Speaking on Adom FM, the women Organiser advised NPP supporters to jubilate in moderation devoid of hate speeches which do not augur well for nation building.
‘We are pleading with our supporters to jubilate in moderation, there is no point seizing toilets and public properties because we have won the elections. Allow the right things to be done, don’t take the law into your hands,’ she urged.
Madam Otiko expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for voting massively for them to win power.
