Michael Donyinah Mensah, Executive Director of CenPOA, has called on all parties involved in Ghana's December 7 elections to collaborate in preventing violence.
Reflecting on the deaths during Ghana’s 2020 elections, he urged stakeholders to prioritize peace, citing the U.S. as an example, where elections occur peacefully despite a much larger population.
He also advised voters to focus on electing competent leaders without resorting to violence.
Mensah appealed to the Electoral Commission to ensure a transparent and error-free election, warning that any mistakes could threaten Ghana’s stability.
